If you have a trailer with a refrigerator in it, you definitely need to have it leveled. Especially if you stop not only at fairly plain campgrounds, but also in some wilder areas. Once you are there, you need to make sure the trailer is leveled. As a rule, RVs are first leveled side-by-side, and only then you level it front to back after unhitching. Of course, you can spend some time and try leveling your trailer with whatever materials you find. Alternatively, you can get ready for trailer leveling beforehand and prepare trailer leveling equipment that will save you some time and effort.

There are many trailer levels available on the market today. The oldest and the simplest type of trailer levels is bubble level. Usually, such accessories come equipped with a mounting bracket which allows for installing the level and seeing it in the rear view mirror of your truck. This makes the leveling process easy and hassle-free. Stick-on trailer levels mount with 3M tape, yet the levering procedure for it is pretty much the same. Newer levels are electronic and may come with memory, LED indicators, and certain other features. So it’s up to you to decide which trailer level you want to use.
