Purchased 3 Solera window awnings for our 2017 Winnebago View. They do make it clear that you must order arm hardware separately from the actual awning. Metal awning cover unfortunately wasnt available at this site. I had to call about receiving only part of the order; I think somehow they messed up the shipment but did ship out the rest of the order the next day. Products arrived in mostly good shape, although I had to straighten out part of 1 mounting rail/track that had a serious kink/dent in the track. No instructions provided nor found on manufacturers site; fortunately several videos are available on the web, & we had installed another one (different brand) a few years ago. Installation challenges included needing to obtain square-drive bits to use with most of the screws, & removing the pair of cotter pins (per awning) was very difficult, in part because they all seemed to be installed backwards (had to pull out up & towards the RV walls, which is about the worst orientation they could have come up with. We wound up scratching up the awning caps pretty badly (will have to touch up). We took a good guess that a pair of plastic bumpers were to be installed on the RV wall to prevent the awning caps from hitting the wall, but again, no instructions. One last comment: big arrows are stamped on to each of the arm assemblies, but if they were to be self-explanatory, they failed.
